Quick Start Guide
Please follow these
13 steps before accessing the BM@C
Information Warehouse:
1.
Start Internet Explorer
2.
Choose Internet Options from the Tools menu
3.
Click on the "Security" Tab
4.
Click on the "Trusted Sites" icon
5.
Click on the "Sites..." button
6.
Uncheck the "Require server verification (https) for all sites in
the zone" checkbox (at the bottom)
7.
type www.scsmgmt.com
in the box below "Add this website to the zone"
8.
Click Add
9.
Click OK (or close) to take you back to the main screen.
******For
Microsoft IE 7.0 you may also need to click on the Custom level button
at the bottom of the internet options screen (inside the Security tab).
Make sure the Trusted Sites zone is still selected. Once you click on
Custom Level, you will need to scroll down to area that says "Miscellaneous"
and then "Access data source across domains". Select either
Prompt or Enable. If you select "Prompt" you will receive a
warning whenever you attempt to retrieve SCS data. Once you have selected
either "Prompt" or "Enable", click OK
Click OK to exit the Internet Options
dialog box.
10. Next
you must install the Microsoft Office
Web Components©,
to do this Click
here. These components allow users to access SCS data specific to
your community.
11.
When prompted select Open
from this location.
12.
This product is free from Microsoft® and must
be installed to use BM@C. You must
select that you agree with the user agreement and then select OK to the
following prompts.
13.
Once you have installed the software you may go back to the BM@C
home have login.

Troubleshooting
In some instances you may need to also
complete the following steps. Usually these Microsoft drivers are
automatically installed when you install your operating system.
If you experience difficulty accessing BM@C
please perform the following step that corresponds with your operating
system. Complete this only after you have completed the 13 steps
above and have experienced difficulty.
****For Windows XP Users only***
- You may need to install the latest Jet Direct ODBC version onto
your computer. Follow the same procedures as above. Select
OPEN file from this location. Select yes when prompted at the license
agreement and select the defaults during the installation. Click
here to begin this process. This product is delivered free form
Microsoft®.
***For Vista and Microsoft IE 7.0
or higher Users only*** - BM@C has been tested and is fully functional
with both Vista and IE 7.0. However, you may receive a message stating
"This website uses a data provider that may be unsafe. If you trust
the website, click OK, otherwise click Cancel." You must click OK
to view the site.
Additionally, you must allow Windows/I.E.
to utilize the required ActiveX component.
